HERE’S THE REALITY........
1.) We are not interested in the newest MLM on the block. Retail and MLM don’t even mix well.
The only reason we joined GNLD is because their vitamins ROCK! Product satisfaction ranks HIGH with us!
We’ll be glad to sign you in GNLD so you can either get a discount on your own products, or build a homebased business, but we’re not looking for another MLM opportunity ourselves. We are perfectly CONTENT! :O)
2.) Time is precious and scarce. It’s taken us two decades to create Favorites because it’s like a "progressive" experiment - evolving daily as we learn new things.
There’s no way we can fit 20 years of knowledge in a quick phone call or email, nor would it be wise to simply equip a potential competitor.
Don’t get me wrong - we’re all about being generous and gracious towards everyone - but we feel we’re also called to use wisdom and discernment in what we share. It just makes good sense and we’re all about that!

Besides, the GNLD opportunity is much better than bulk food sales and that’s not just a sales pitch, either.
It’s the truth and it’s based on....

* my 30 years in RETAIL,
* my 20 years,(*almost), of being in bulk food RETAIL
I’ll share my reasoning, but just so you know - I’m not WHINING - just being flat out HONEST!
In a way, I wish someone had prepared me for these difficulties, but if I’d known all this before starting Favorites, I probably wouldn’t have proceeded and we do help a lot of people.....so....
I guess "fate" had a reason for keeping me dumb! ha!

WITH GNLD, THERE IS NO INVENTORY REQUIRED!
Bulk food orders are large, expensive and heavy!
Each order has to be at least 5000 pounds which costs thousands of dollars.
The mark-up on bulk foods is low so getting financing isn’t feasible.
When I sold cosmetics, I made at least 60-70% more profit on every dollar sold than I do with bulk grains.
This low profit margin affects every decision we make -
* whether we can stock our shelves adequately,
* expand the size of our location,
* increase services offered,
* or even pay ourselves each day.
It can be a frustrating CHALLENGE!
Ordering grain is a SLOW process, too!
From gathering orders to waiting on the delivery truck, one grain order can take 6 weeks or longer to complete.
Bulk food is PERISHABLE!
Keeping inventory is risky.
Grains are packaged in nothing but one or two layers of brown kraft paper that’s easily damaged, ripped or torn.
If bugs hatch, or a mouse gets in the shop, our investment in whole grains could suddenly get EATEN away, quite literally! It is a fear we take steps against daily.
CONTRAST THAT WITH GNLD -
* I can order as little or as much as I’d like!
* I can order whenever I’d like, as often or as seldom, for there are no "rules" on when to order!
* It takes only 2 days to get products from the company headquarters in CA to South Carolina so inventory is optional!
* Unpacking an order does not require me to hire additional muscles.
* GNLD products have a nice, LONG shelf life and are packaged in a way that protects their contents well!

GNLD OFFERS A MORE EFFICIENT USE OF TIME
In the beginning, I tried working "by apointment" only but when gasoline prices shot sky high, we had to switch to "set" hours that were the same, week after week.
I enjoy being there, but there are days when either Mark or I show up to work, but no customers come in. There’s also times when something else comes up that I need to do but I can’t because of that obligation at the store.
CONTRAST THAT WITH GNLD -
* You work as much or as little as you’d like.
* You work whatever day and time you want. It’s your call and it can change daily or weekly.
* It’s often a matter of a simple phone call to reschedule when necessary so a sick child, family crisis or just a conflict in schedule is usually easily resolved.

NO COMMERCIAL SPACE NEEDED!
Whether you rent or purchase, commercial space is EXPENSIVE!
With bulk food, we needed a loading dock so it takes a lot of sales just to pay the basic expense of rent.
Those expenses always exist monthly, whether or not I work and whether or not I actually made money.
If I take a vacation or am in bed sick, I still have to pay the bills owed on that commercial space for that time period.
CONTRAST THAT WITH GNLD -
* No commercial space is needed or required.
* Since you work GNLD from home, if you need to take sick leave, or vacation time, there’s no office costs accruing in your absence.
* If you’d like, a GNLD "office" can be created in a corner of a home, but even that is not required.
* Technically, you could work GNLD from just a filing box! Just pull it out of a closet when you want to work!

Just this week, the mom of a teen told how her daughter is bemoaning all the freshly baked bread she’ll miss when she’s away at college!
So, I told her how I baked whole wheat bread and cinnamon rolls in a college dorm at USC!
